Social Media Marketer Intern

• Part-time (Monday, Wednesday and Friday, 9am to 2pm)

• Unpaid Internship 

• Useful method of gaining valuable experience, recommendations and even potential future job placement.

• Works under close supervision of existing staff.

• Must provide a portfolio or any recent projects if available. 

• **The intern is not necessarily entitled to a job at the conclusion of the internship.

• A deep understanding of Posting, Tags, DM, Outreach, Organization, and Communication 

• Available to post, promote, & gain followers daily 

• Willing to work with our current social media specialist; Having a teamwork attitude. 

• An understanding of media & appropriate content; Comprehensive understanding of Facebook & Instagram.

• Great grammar, reading, writing & overall linguistic skills. 

• Manage social media marketing campaigns and day-to-day activities. 

• Become an advocate for the organization in social media spaces, engaging in dialogues and answering questions where appropriate. 

• Monitor trends in social media tools, applications, channels, design and strategy. 

• Monitor effective benchmarks for measuring the impact of social media campaigns. 

• Social media marketing/promotion skills 

• Strong organization skills and attention to detail

• Time management skills 

• Obtainment of High School Diploma and currently enrolled in College/University will have top considerations.
